Are they showing off live work that you can go to right now and see for yourself how well the website works? And are they providing you references if you request them?
When we opened HM Marketing in 2015 and began helping business owners launch new websites, they would share the contracts they signed with their previous web design company and I couldn’t believe what I saw. Multi-year contracts that transferred the business owners domain and other assets over to the web design agency. Then when the business owner wanted to leave, they would get with huge cancellation fees. You won’t find that with us.
